This mens recreational doubles league meets each Thursday evening at 7pm on court 9. The spring season starts in January and consists of ten weeks of play before the summer break. Signup takes place in December and January and is open to AMTA members. Fees are $12 per season and balls are provided. Membership in AMTA is $5 per year for ACC men. If you joined in the Fall your membership covers the Spring season. This popular league is suitable for entry level players and up. Typically there will be three or four courts in action each week with a variety of skill levels.

Spring 2004 League Facts

Requirements - Membership in AMTA. $5 per year Fees - $12 for balls and awards Format - Men's Doubles. Each match consists of thirty games played in three 10 game sets. Players swap partners after each set so each member of the foursome plays one set with each other member.
Travel - None Rules - No ad scoring rules apply. The first team to win four points in a game wins that game. The receiving team decides which member will receive in the event of a three-three tie but subs may not receive unless both players are subs. At the end of the evening, each player should record the total games he won. The winner of the most games on each court is entitled to keep the game balls. Season - Season score is computed from the top eight of the ten weekly scores. Each player must throw out his two lowest scores. Prizes are awarded to the first and second place players. Season score determines seeding in future leagues
Reminder - The schedule closes each week on Tue at 7pm. You are responsible for getting a sub and notifying the captain if you cant play after receiving a confirming email.
